Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum of Art ceased operation as a museum in Sakura City from March 31st, 2025.
 
Since its opening in 1990, countless visitors have given tremendous support to our activities as a museum here in the Sakura area over the ensuing 35 years. Also, we have received kind words of support from many people since the announcement of the closing, for which we wish to express our heartfelt gratitude. 

Regarding the future, in cooperation with The International House of Japan, Inc. (Tokyo Minato Ward), we are engaged in preparations to begin operations as a new museum. With this new endeavor in mind, we sincerely and humbly ask for everyone’s continued support in the future.

(Plans for a move to The International House of Japan and resumption of management as a museum from 2030)

Closed until April 30, 2025, Open to the public (in parts) from May 1, 2025
